Four individually owned adjoined historic buildings restored and converted into a unified retail and residential project
This ambitious endeavor took the majority of one prime downtown city block and converted four adjoining dilapidated buildings into one sophisticated stretch of street-level shopping with twenty fashionable urban living spaces above. The extensive restoration includes
reclaimed wood that was milled into
railings around loft spaces as well as
reused for hardwood flooring. In some cases, brick walls were opened into dramatic arches to add to the overall character of the interior.
This project required extraordinary
negotiations and planning to meet extensive building requirements, owner interests and a unified visual presence.
