This mid-19th-century building, formerly occupied by Mayer Schairer Company Stationery, will continue to be one of the city's key identifiers through an extensive facade restoration. The renovation work now underway includes new space for retail and office tenants on the existing lower floors and possibly adding upper floors for prime downtown residential lofts.

The owner, West Washington Associates, and JC Beal Construction bring a wealth of experience to this type of work through their combined involvement in similar downtown projects.
